Workshops for School Teachers

In this changing scenario, teaching has become a challenge .Due to the advancement of technology, a teacher has to keep himself/herself abreast of the innovative teaching methodology. The school teachers continue to attend workshops and seminars to gain more knowledge and keep themselves informed and updated.

SESSION 2017-18

  • Workshop on Class Room Management & Life Communication Skills on 4 & 5 July,2017 organized by Resource Person Mrs.Geetanjali at Guru Nanak Model Sr.Sec.School,Doraha. All teachers attended the same workshop.
  • Workshop on changes in syllabus due to GST organized by Dr.G.S.Grewal & Mr R.K.Khorla  on 5 August, 2017 at B.C.M School, Ludhiana. This workshop was attended by  Mrs.Gurpreet Kaur , Mrs.Gurpreet kaur Aujla & Mr.Lakhwinder Singh.
  • Workshop on  Class Room Management on 29  & 30 Nov ,2017 at Mehta Gurukul public School, Doraha organized by Resource Person Mr.Vivek Tiwari & Mrs.Shweta .This workshop was attended by  Mrs.Rajwinder Kaur & Miss.Vishu Jain.
  • Workshop on  Hindi Language on 02, Dec 2017 at Guru Nanak Model International School, Ludhiana organized by Madhuvan Publication. This workshop was attended by  Mrs.Pallavi Sharma & Mrs.Inderjit Kaur.

SESSION 2018-19

  • Workshop on Stress Management on 13th April 2018 conducted by Circle of Life. This workshop was attended by 5 teachers.
  • Workshop on 1 June 2018 conducted by Mr.Lovi Raj Gupta at Guru Nanak Model Sr.Sec.School, Doraha. All teachers attended the same workshop.
  •  Two days workshop was organized in Our School on 12th & 13th June 2018 conducted by Ms.Ashraf Noorani at Guru Nanak Model Sr.Sec.School, Doraha. All teachers attended this workshop. This workshop was conducted to enhance the knowledge as well as to polish the multifarious internal & external skills of the teachers. On the very first day, tacts and pedagogies of teaching and learning were introduced to them.
  • Workshop on ‘INTRODUCTION OF MICRO-ECONOMICS (+1)’ on 27 Sept, 2018 organized by Resource Person MR.J.P.GOEL  at  D.A.V Public School, Ludhiana.This workshop was attended by Mrs.Gurpreet Kaur.
  • Workshop on ‘CHANGE IN ACCOUNTS SYLLABUS AND GST’ on 22 Sept,2018 organized by Resource Person Dr.T.S.GREWAL  at  D.A.V Public School, Ludhiana. This workshop was attended by Mr.Lakhwinder Singh.
  • Workshop on ‘CHANGE IN ACCOUNTS SYLLABUS AND GST’ on 20 Aug,2018 organized by Resource Person MR.D.K. GOEL  at  KVM School CIVIL LINES, Ludhiana. This workshop was attended by Mr.Lakhwinder Singh.

Session: 2019-20

  • Workshop for Mathematics teachers conducted by Mr.Syed F Sattar Manager Education (GEMS Education, Gurgaon) on 13July,2019 at Radha Vatika School, Khanna attended by Mrs.Kiran Bala, Mrs.Anu Dhiman , Mrs.Ramandeep Kaur, Ms.Kiranjot kaur.
  • Workshop on “ Sustainability of Natural Resources “ under Earthian Orientation Programme” at B.C.M Arya model Sr. Sec. School, Ludhiana. organized by ‘WIPRO’, conducted by Ashish Shah (an associate Earthian).This workshop was attended by Mrs. Amandeep Kaur (Biology) and Mrs. Twinkle Mehta.
  • 11 Teachers of the school attended various Capacity building programs at different school.
  • A workshop on “How to manage stress in the personal and professional life” under Collins Professional Development programme for teachers organized by Harpar Collins conducted by Mr. Sumit Bhardwaj on 23rd September, 2019 in our School Campus. The Session was attended by 77 teachers of the school and 49 teachers from different schools.

Session: 2020-21

  • Fit India Awareness Programme by CBSE in collaboration with sports Authority of India (SAI) under the Khelo India National Fitness Programme for schools conducted from 18th June, 2020 to 28th June, 2020 attended by the department of Physical Education.
  • A webinar on ‘Mindfulness’ organized by Ratna Sagar on 24.10.2020. The whole GNM staff attended it.
  • A webinar on ‘Value of Happiness’ conducted by “Amrita Kalsi’ in GNM , Campus 2 November, 2020 attended by whole GNM staff.

Session: 2021-22

  • “NEP Implementation-Pedagogy & Tools” organized by Think Tac held at GNM Campus, conducted by- Procheta Malik, PhD Glasgow and Vishal Bhatt, M. Tech IIT Delhi. It was attended by all the faculty members.
  • “FINANCIAL LITERACY AND USE OF DIGITAL TOOLS” conducted at SPSSP School, Neelon. In which 14 teachers of our school participated.

Session: 2022-23

  • “NEP Implementation-Pedagogy & Tools” organized by Think Tac held at GNM Campus, conducted by- Procheta Malik, PhD Glasgow and Vishal Bhatt, M. Tech IIT Delhi. It was attended by all the faculty members.
  • “FINANCIAL LITERACY AND USE OF DIGITAL TOOLS” conducted at SPSSP School, Neelon. In which 14 teachers of our school participated.

Session: 2023-24

  • To polish the multifarious internal and external skills of the teachers. Viva Education organized Educational Development Programme on “Soft Skills” held on 21st September, 2023 in GNM Campus. A number of 60 teachers participated in the same. The resource person was ‘Ms. Bhavdeep Kohli’.
  •  A seminar on ‘ADVANCED LIFE SKILLS’ organized at Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana on 13th May, 2023 conducted by Ms. Rajni Kalra (Principal of DCM School, Ludhiana) and Mr. G.S. Nagi (Principal of KVM School, Ludhiana) attended by Ms. Ruchi Sharma. 
  •  ‘Pustak Vimochan programme’ was organized by Bharti Bhawan at Elegance Hotel, Samrala Road,Khanna on ‘Hindi Diwas day’ i.e on 14th September,2023 conducted by Mr. Varun Lamba. The Guests of Honour were ‘Mr. D P Thakur’ and ‘Ms. Rewa Tondon’. It was attended by our School teachers ‘Ms. Palvi Sharma and Ms. Bindiya’
  • Centre of Excellence (Chandigarh) organized two days English Core, Senior Secondary Training Programme which was held at Tagore International School, Sahnewal on 7th and 8th August, 2023 attended by Ms. Komalpreet Kaur.
