LOCATION AND SCHOOL CAMPUS

The school campus is attached to the college campus under the same society. It stands on 4 acres of land out of the 17 acres which was allocated to the college managing board in 1971 by the Punjab Government on 99 years lease . The College was started in 1974 & the school was inaugurated in 1983.
The school has a fully automated language lab , computer labs, Science & Maths labs. Apart from being academically proficient , we provide all kind of sports facilities with specific coaches as in Hockey, Boxing, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Table Tennis, Football, Volleyball & Handball.

Three beautiful playgrounds, Boxing Ring , indoor gymnasium, activity areas for the nursery and primary kids adorn the school campus.

Library

“Nothing is pleasanter than exploring a library”.
The school wheel of academics run in and around the axle of the school library. Role of library is of utmost importance and it is the duty of institution to keep pace with it. Library and its services are absolutely essential to achieve the development goals. School provides library facilities to both the students and teachers to expand the horizon of their knowledge. The school library is an impressive one based on modern principles. Its modular and functional styles fulfill the purpose of planned library. There are thousands of books and different magazines and newspapers. The reference collection of the library is continuously updated and augmented. A library has been introduced in Primary section also. Colorful books with pictures, story charts and letters are kept for the children’s use. Library helps the children to develop a love for reading and improves their vocabulary. To enhance the knowledge of the students and to mark it upto the date to the requirement of today and for providing them study-material, there is a computerized library with 7855 books for the students. There are also many reference books available in the library such as AIEEE, Encyclopedia and Dictionaries.

Smart Classes

We offer the children a broad and stimulating curriculum so that each child may flower to the best of his /her ability, as every child is unique and precious. We combine the tenets of a traditional value based system with global trends and a world class infrastructure, so Fifteen I-Ken class rooms have been provided to all the students with all infrastructure for easy understanding and interesting learning.

English Language Lab

Recent changes in educational dynamics have put a thrust on new and alternative ways of learning. To fulfill the purpose and knowing the vitality of the world’s most popular spoken language, we have provided an English language lab/Audio visual room for the benefit of the students, where in both junior and senior classes spoken English and pronunciation are improved.

Art Room

“Real art is illumination….. It adds stature to life.” Every Child is an artist. Creative artist finds many ideas floating in her/his mind struggling to take shape (Atkinson). A well decorated and beautiful art room has been set up to develop imaginative and creative personality of the students.

Music Room

Music is well said to be the speech of angles (Thomas Carlyle). The best and sweet melodious music can be heard while passing by the music room. The purpose is to develop an aesthetic sense and devotion towards God through music to the students. The training of both vocal and instrumental music is imparted.

Maths Lab

Mathematics is one of the subjects which demands greater attention in creating relevant and suitable learning situations. Maths lab provides stimulating and worthwhile experiences through activities, aids and effective demonstrations.

Computer Lab

Two well-equipped computer labs with printers have been installed. Besides promoting computer literacy, creating awareness in computer and bridging the digital divide, we help students to take an early lead in coping with a computer oriented tomorrow. Students are provided a chance to discover and comprehend vast knowledge through internet facility. The labs are fully air-conditioned with power backup facility and professionally set. The campus is wi-fi enabled.

Social Science Lab

History has been called ‘race memory’. The present has grown out of the past, as the flower has developed from the seed. We cannot properly understand our present national customs, thoughts and ideals if we are not aware of how these things have come to be what they are. The Social Science lab has been set up to broaden the mind, to enlarge the horizon and quicken the imagination and familiarize us with our glorious past.

Physics Lab

Physics Lab is equipped with large collection of experimental charts, framed portraits of Physicist and related equipments for conducting experiments on fluids, optics, current, electricity, sound, semiconductors, magnetism and thermodynamics etc. To provide audio-visual demonstration in certain experiments related to Physics, we have a latest projector in the lab.

Chemistry Lab

The school has a separate Chemistry lab which is properly ventilated, spacious and airy. It is well equipped with ultra modern equipment. There is proper heating arrangement with a gas plant installed. All essential Chemicals are always available in the lab and provided to the students according to the requirement. The lab helps the students in developing practical skills and analytic approach.

Biology Lab

The Institution has well equipped, spacious and airy Biology lab, where the students can acquaint themselves with the biological world. The presented specimens, permanently prepared slides, help to enhance the student’s knowledge.

Sick Room

It is true “health and gaiety foster beauty.” During school hours sick students are looked after. We have a well equipped infirmary that provides first aid to the students in need, under the supervision. There is a neat and clean sick room with six beds in the school.
